Genoa, Lego passion at Villa Bombrini with ExhiBricks
Genoa – Back to Villa Bombrini, an “ExhiBrick – Bricks in Genoa” Cornigliano. Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May 2022 LiguriaBricks presents the new edition of the exhibition of collections and original works built with LEGO bricks.
ExhiBricks is an exhibition designed to share the passion for LEGO bricks, to disclose the potential of the most famous interlocking system in the world, but – above all – to entertain and amuse families with children and the curious of all ages.
Inside the historic Genoese villa, set up over 800 meters on two floors, the collections and original works (MOC calls) of the over 30 exhibitors from all over Italy will be exhibited: from medieval castles to fantasy, from the magical world of Harry Potter to the Star Wars galaxy.
“After three years of forced stop – says Marco Fanelli, President of the LiguriaBricks association, Ligurian branch of AFDL – there is a great desire throughout the AFOL community to meet again, to exhibit, to share our passion with people: to do it with great pleasure and in complete safety. “
To manage the influx of visitors and guarantee everyone a safe and serene experience, LiguriaBricks opted to pass the free admission ticket through the Eventbrite platform (https: //bit.ly-exhibricks-2022)
Collaboration is constructive.
Among the most impressive works, there will be a large diorama of the city of four and forty meters in length by two and forty meters in depth, the result of the collaboration of all the members of LiguriaBricks that made buildings, roads, trains, tracks available to the Project Manager , exchanges and Minifigures® from their private collections.
Genoa, one brick at a time
The members of LiguriaBricks, at each edition of ExhiBricks in the Ligurian capital, create a scale reproduction of an iconic Genoese monument or building with LEGO® bricks: after the Lantern (2018) and Porta Soprana (2019) what will you have thought this time around?
