The first portal is launched in Portugal for the acquisition of houses with crypto – Criptoativos
The Portuguese network Zome launched this Monday the first portal for the sale of real estate in Portugal paid entirely in cryptocurrencies, the company said in a statement.
According to the survey carried out by Negócios, more than 2,600 land, houses and apartments across the country are up for exchange.
The most expensive is a land located in Palmela with 140 thousand square meters and which costs 461 bitcoins (about 14 million euros compared to the current conversion).
The legal process – from the contract, through the proof of the legality of the funds and signature of the deed – can be ensured by the law firm Antas da Cunha.
“The launch of this portal reinforces our desire to be at the forefront of trends in the sector, and to be able to do so to all Zome employees in Portugal and Spain, is also a way of showing each of them that they are our inspiration and initiative. to continue to evolve”, Patrícia Santos, CEO of Zome, in the note sent.
On the 4th of May, the Portuguese real estate agency carried out the first public deed in Portugal, where a direct exchange between crypto assets and the property, a T3 located in Braga, was carried out, without the need for a conversion into euros.
