Since 2011, throughout the month of May, Occitanie celebrates Europe!

In all the territories, the inhabitants are invited to discover the place of Europe in their daily life. Walks, shows, café-debates, concerts, exhibitions, European villages, tastings, visits to projects funded by the European Union…
So many different events to share and discover Europe!
The Pays Comminges Pyrenees, bearer of the European LEADER program, organizes a day of visits to projects supported by the latter.

Heritage, culture and economy will be on the program for this third edition.

Friday, May 20, 2022:

Elected officials, partners, the press and the curious are invited to discover four of these projects.
Specific support for rural territories, innovation and experimentation, partnership and integrated projects in connection with the actors of the territory, a selection of local projects:

On this occasion, we will tell you to discover 2 projects that have benefited from assistance from the LEADER program on our territory:

• At 10.20 a.m.: Jérôme Thinières inter-municipal climbing hall in Labroquère (equipment produced by the CCPHG)
• At 11:40 a.m.: City of Bees in Genos

Other projects: Development of the footpath around the lake of Sede and
creation of a pump track – Development and modernization of craft brewery
Aurignac Brewery in the medieval town center of Aurignac.
