Outings-Leisure | Avignon: live happier thanks to laughter yoga!
We know the health benefits of yoga. But those of laughter yoga? To test the benefits of this approach, an outdoor laughter session is offered in Avignon on the Althea barge, this Sunday, May 22 at 2:30 p.m.
Accompanied by a fresh fruit juice from a juice extractor, this session is aimed at children from 7 years old as well as adults, for an hour of fun. The project was initiated by Frédéric Joubert, astro-psychologist in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, still patron of the Maison de la Presse of the cardinal city until September 1st. The session will be led by Stéphanie Ingelbach, corporate well-being facilitator in Avignon
We all need to laugh more than ever! With friends, family…”Laughter yoga is a practice from India, created by an Indian doctor Madan Kataria and his wife Madhuri, a yoga teacher, combining breathing techniques and mimicry exercises that make it so simple that it is accessible to all. . And that’s good, because we all need to activate the joy in ourselves !”, says Stéphanie Ingelbach.
You should know that in addition, the brain does not make the difference between a decided laugh and a natural laugh. Therefore, forced or spontaneous, it allows the diffusion of feel-good hormones throughout the body.
This Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the garden of the Althéa barge. Contact and reservations: [email protected]
