Michelin hands out five new Bib Gourmands (Antwerp)

Michelin has just announced the new Bib Gourmands via twitter. The province of Antwerp immediately got five new restaurants with an interesting price-quality ratio, four of which are in the city itself.
Bistrot l’Ilot, Bistrot Benoit, Bizie Lizie and Instroom are the new Antwerp Bib Gourmand restaurants. In Herentals it is No. 12 of Helsen. The four Antwerp artists complete the company of Bibs in the city: l’Amitié, Bún, Ciro’s, 5 Flavors Mmei, InVINcible, Ni Shifu and Schnitzel in Antwerp.
Dave Dierickx of Bizie Lizie applauds the award-winning toe. “The Bib is very welcome in these difficult times with the works on the Vlaamsekaai in front of the door. Fortunately, people still find their way to us, but the Bib will help us pull.”
“With a Bib Gourmand, the Michelin guide wants to award restaurants that offer an irresistible relationship between price, quality and pleasure”, Chief Inspector Werner Loens. “This equates to a three-course meal for about 40 euros.” The guide does not strictly adhere to that price if the former is met and the customer has a minimum of choice to compose his meal. You can recognize the Bib’s logo in the communication from the Michelin man who lets his tongue slide over his lips.
