“I can’t identify you by specific product line, but I think in about a month,” he said, answering a question about when the first foreign brands appear in retail, included in the list for import analysis.

As for popular cosmetic brands, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has so far removed some of them from the import analysis mechanism, since a decision has not yet been made on the consumption of consumption, including, with some of them, which continue mainly to replace work in the Russian Federation.

“You can say correctly why (exceptions are included – IF): we, for example, L’Oreal in Kaluga, have not made a decision to the end, but we still take such steps responsibly,” he said.

Manturov also noted that an industry meeting was recently held on the production of cosmetics and perfumes in the Russian Federation. “They were presented in a Russian company, and these are really Russian products, Russian development, Russian components. I was convinced that our women, men, children will definitely not have problems with cosmetics, both decorative and care, and perfumes,” he said .

The Russian government published a list of goods for import analysis on May 6, including in the government included in various positions in the perfume and cosmetics industry. At the same time, the developer of the document, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, listed those brands that will not yet fall under parallel imports. In total, 36 brands of cosmetics and perfumes were excluded from the list.
