With two new connections and flights, the airlines are on the hunt for cabin crews to increase their workforce for the season, which could mean a full restart for the sector. Ryanair, one of the main low-cost airlines, aims to recruit at least one hundred hostesses and stewards throughout Europe with Pisa once again representing one of the most important operational bases in Italy.
Together with the Irish carrier, there are many that have opened the doors to the entry of new workers to form companies and increase the crews on board.
They will be selected by Crewlink, a company specializing in the search, training and recruitment of flight attendants that collaborates with the main European airline companies. One of the main recruiting days in Italy will be held tomorrow in Pisa at the Galilei Hotel in via Darsena. A day for the evaluation and selection of candidates to be allocated above all to the staff of Ryanair.
Some of those who will be recruited in Pisa by obtaining the pass for the training phase, preparatory to inclusion in the staff that will be operational until the beginning of autumn. To participate, the company has various requirements.
These include the holder of a European or British passport; a height between 157 and 188 centimeters and an excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken. Candidates must also be able to swim unaided for at least 25 meters consecutively; have a passion for travel; a predisposition to relations with the public to provide the services requested to customers and, in case of need, to support users; flexibility and willingness to work shifts. The recruiting company offers fixed-term contracts, for the entire duration of the summer air transport season, and numerous advantages that future workers can take advantage of.
After the selection phase, applicants will take a free cabin crew training course which includes a daily allowance and then start working on board the aircraft. Most of the training courses take place in Hahn, near Frankfurt, at the Hahn training center, the Crewlink “school”, with an adjoining residential structure, where all the people selected and recruited during the recruitment days are hosted for a few weeks. . The working relationship provides highly flexible hours: hostesses and stewards will be busy five days a week. They will also have access to highly discounted and unlimited stable travel rates, as well as having the opportunity to be initiated into a career path for inclusion in the workforce of one of the main European low-cost airlines.
The Pisan appointment, which over the years has become one of the main dates for the recruitment of on-board operators (in particular to select and train the staff to be assigned to Ryanair), starts at 10 (Crewlink asks to arrive at least ten minutes in advance) and will take place for the whole day, during which a few dozen aspiring hostesses and stewards will be identified.
