Charlene of Monaco victim of an epileptic seizure: new revelations about her fragile health

Sugar Mizzy May 17, 2022

Suffering from an ENT infection, Charlene de Monaco stayed away from the media for more than a year, interned in South African and Swiss hospitals. According to the media Youthe princess reportedly had an epileptic fit last summer between sinus operations.

Charlene of Monaco’s life was turned upside down a year ago when she performed a 10 day trip to South Africa. The princess had indeed contracted health problems at the level of the ENT sphereforcing him to stay away from the rock of Monaco for seven months. The former swimming gold medalist was rushed to hospital in South Africa and then an integrated care center in Switzerland, before reappearing in front of the press last April 30. According to the revelations of the South African magazine Youpublished this May 12, the wife of Prince Albert was victim of an epileptic seizure after having sinus surgery and undergoing a bone graft.

Her seizure occurred a few weeks after Charlene had surgery, at the end of summer 2021, either some time before she was rushed to hospital in Durban, fainted. According to a magazine source,“the operation was particularly tested” for her and she did not know how to spare herself and rest as she should have, which which would have caused the crisis. This source clarified that seizures are common in cases of severe infections and high fevers.

The magazine went on to report that Charlene of Monaco was undergoing “a lot of pressure” and that there was “a lot of emotional stuff” who worked on it. During her seven months away from her husband and their twins Jacques and Gabriella, the princess was also aware that “the eyes of the whole world were constantly turned towards her”which only didincrease wire stress and delay recovery.

Charlene “pensive” and “isolated” from her family during her first official appearance

When Charlene made her official comeback on April 30 on the occasion the Monaco E-Prix, in the company of his family, his attitude did not reassure the media. The expert Judi James had deciphered the body language of the 44-year-old mother for our colleagues from Daily mailnoticing that she gives herself away from her husband and that the expression “thoughtful” that she wore reasoned the air to her “isolated” of the rest of his family, cheered by the event. “His only verbal and non-verbal communication in his poses seems to be with his daughter only. She made no eye contact with her husband or with the public.” had analyzed the expert.

Besides her posture, the smile that the princess displayed had nothing to do with him either. “You can’t call it a smile, it doesn’t reach his eyes, while a genuine smile begins in the expression of the eyes”, noted the expert, adding that “the movement of his mouth suggests that she is in internal conflict, tempted to smile or thinks she should appear smiling, but fails at the task”. Charlene’s pensive air contrasted sharply with her husband’s demeanor: “Albert looks optimistic. He waves to the crowd and puts on a rigorous smile. But Charlene did not imitate his hand signals or his smile. concluded Judi James.
