The new champion in the electronic football championship of Bulgaria – More sports – eSports is clear
Ivan Churov (CSK Falcons DrNightWatch) is this year’s winner in the eFirst League – the only official electronic football championship in Bulgaria. The champion, who plays with the team of CSKA 1948, a successful trophy without appeal, after within 2 days he defeated the other three finalists – Dimitar Dosev (SuperMax) with “Beroe”, Peter Kamburov (hxknz) with “Slavia” and Georgi Georgiev jorjewin) with Tsarsko Selo. Thus, Churov received the right to participate in the playoffs of the EA SPORTS FIFA22 Global Series in July and took the largest shares of the prize fund in the eFirst League, which amounts to BGN 5,000.
Initially, CSK Falcons DrNightWatch qualified for the top 4 of the tournament through Loser Bracket, after the first round of the tournament, which was eliminated by Winner Bracket, due to the loss of the difference from last year’s winner of the tournament Sezer Sabriev (Sanchez). Surprising international sanction for Sanchez, won the fraud and falsification of the result, however, forced the organizers of the championship to make successful adjustments in the form of finals. Thus, Churov has a chance to play a qualifying series with Dimitar Dosev (SuperMax) to enter the top 4 of the championship through Winner Bracket and subsequently in this match after 2: 2 and 2: 1. In the qualification for direct entry into the final, CSK Falcons DrNightWatch did not leave any chances to Petar Kamburov (hxknz), beating him 1: 0 and 6: 0. In the match for the title Ivan Churov beat and won (1: 1, 3: 0) the best performing athlete of the season Georgi Georgiev (jorjewin).
The finals were broadcast live on Max Sport 1 and a channel on the streaming platform Twitch.TV. The event and the eFirst League took place thanks to the partnership between the Bulgarian Football Union and the companies Sports Management Bulgaria and Key Events and Communication.
