Coronavirus in Greece: 4,324 new cases and 15 deaths – Of the 173 survivors

Another 4,324 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the last 24 hours in our country, according to the new announcement of EODY.
The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,389,306 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men. The number of new repetitive hours recorded in the last 24 hours was 407, while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number has been estimated at 128,726 (3.7% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths with COVID-19 are 15, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,536 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated intubated is 173 (67.1% men). Their median age is 71 years. 92.5% have underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and over.
Among patients treated intubated, 91 (52.6%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 82 (47.4%) are fully vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,652 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 127 (daily change + 7.63%). The average seven-day admission is 117 patients. The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the age range of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
