Sweden and Finland will play in a charity match for Ukraine
Sweden and Finland have confirmed that they will participate in a charity match where all proceeds go to the Ukrainian floorball federation. This charity match will take place just before the EUR Men’s WFCQ 2022 event in Latvia on May 24 and the match will be livestreamed on the IFF Youtube Channel.
The charity match has been arranged the day before WFCQ events in Latvia will start with both teams being close to each other. The two best floorball nations in the world will use this match to raise money and awareness for the war in Ukraine and help Ukrainian Floorball Federation with raising money for future activities.
All proceeds from ticket sales to the match go to the Ukrainian Floorball Federation. The Latvian Floorball Federation will provide the venue and match staff free of charge to assist with the collection and organization of the charity match. The match will be streamed live on the IFF Youtube channel with links to the collection and the page for donations to be promoted during the livestream. We encourage all viewers to support the Ukrainian Floorball Federation and this fundraiser by donating during the livestream!
The match will be played in the same format as WFCQ – 3 x 15 minutes / 17 players
Charity match between Sweden and Finland: Tuesday 24th May at 19:00 at Vidzemes Olympic Center in Valmiera, Latvia.
