Mr. Jean Castellini, President of SAM Monacotech, Government Advisor-Minister of Finance and the Economy, and Mr. Alain Schmitt, Director of IMT Nord Europe, confirmed the collaboration agreement signed in 2021 between Monacotech and the APUI incubator of IMT Nord Europe.
Visitors were able to get behind the wheel of more than 40 electric vehicles, and discover the latest innovations in terms of sustainable mobility and renewable energy over an exhibition that was fully booked.
EVER 2022 has just closed its doors after three intense days of events dedicated to sustainable mobility, renewable energies and environmental protection.
The first day of the exhibition was punctuated by the official visit of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Accompanied by Roger Alm, the president of Volvo Trucks, partner of EVER Monaco 2022, the Sovereign Prince had chosen to go to the exhibition aboard a 26-tonne electric truck. An exceptional crew to shine the spotlight on the necessary electrification of road transport in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
On the same theme, more than 50 exhibitors came to share their vision of tomorrow’s mobility, or unveil a range of services to move better and in a less emissive way.
The SMEG (Société Monégasque de l’Électricité et du Gaz), which is accelerating the deployment of charging solutions for electric vehicles in the Principality and throughout France, has for example unveiled a new car-sharing offer as part of the deployment of its “Mobee by SMEG” service, which will offer Tesla Model 3 car sharing in the coming weeks.
As always, EVER Monaco was at the heart of the organization of numerous round tables, during which the themes of environmental news in energy and transport were deepened. Many specialists had made the trip, enriching the quality of the debates.
Several dozen companies also presented their innovations, were able to pitch and meet potential investors. A startup competition was also organized, and the most innovative were rewarded. It is also within this framework that Mr. Jean Castellini, President of Monacotech, Government Counselor-Minister of Finance and the Economy, as well as Mr. Alain Schmitt, Director of IMT Nord Europe, confirmed the collaboration agreement signed in 2021 between Monacotech and the APUI incubator of IMT Nord Europe. Together, the two entities could work together on the major issues of the city of tomorrow.
Finally, EVER Monaco is once again held as a prelude to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, which features 100% electric single-seaters. In this context, a specific round table on the theme of the accelerating role that electric motorsport can have on the development of sustainable human progress, was held at the heart of the exhibition.
