On May 4, Conference “European Perspective for Good Neighborly Relations between Bulgaria and RS Macedonia”
On May 4, at 10.00, in Hall 6 of the National Palace of Culture, President Rumen Radev will participate in the National Conference “European Perspective for Good Neighborly Relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia”. This announcement from the press office of the head of state.
The forum will be held under the patronage of the head of state on the day when the 119th anniversary of the death of the great Bulgarian revolutionary Gotse Delchev is celebrated.
The conference is organized by the Institute for Historical Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Macedonian Scientific Institute. It will be attended by Vice President Iliana Yotova, prominent historians, diplomats, journalists, representatives of Macedonian Bulgarian organizations, as well as representatives of the Macedonian Patriotic Organization in the United States and Canada.
After President Radev opened the forum, a panel on “Gotse Delchev and the general history of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of the Northern Northern Republic – between facts and ideology” will be held. Assoc. Prof. Georgi Georgiev, Prof. Svetlozar Eldarov and Assoc. Prof. Naum Kaichev will take part in it.
Prof. Angel Dimitrov, Assoc. Prof. Georgi Nikolov, Assoc. Prof. Spas Tashev, Kosta Filipov, Ivan Nikolov and Ambassador Marin Raykov are participants in the second panel of the forum. Its topic is “The state and prospects of good neighborly relations: the European maturity of the PCM”.
The third panel is dedicated to “100 years of organized movement of Macedonian Bulgarians around the world”. You will take part in it Prof. Prof. Trendafil Mitev from the University of National and World Economy, Nick Stefanov, chairman of the club of MPO “Victory” – Toronto (Canada), Thomas Lebamov from MPO “Pirin” – Chicago (USA), Georgi Tsarnomarov from Ivan Mihailov Cultural Center – Bitola, Petar Kolev – Chairman of the Civic Democratic Union, BTA reported.
The moderator of the event is the journalist Boyko Vassilev. The forum will be broadcast live on BNT, as well as on the Facebook page of the head of state.
