The bus left for Antwerp at 8 o’clock sharp. “Because you can no longer avoid files these days, we arrived at the harbor house at 10 o’clock,” the Okra members said. It could not be visited due to international interest, but that was doubly compensated by a visit to a port terminal. After an explanation about the history of the harbor house, bus Carlo slalomed us between the thousands of containers along the largest sugar, coffee, chocolate, fertilizer and fruit harbor in Europe. The number of ships, machines, stored goods both in wood and metal, it was all really impressive.”
After one-course workers in the special and three board meetings soup kitchen, where the visit continued. “During and after dinner, our group was meant to be part of the photo shoot of Elexir d’Anvers. What a happening! After this meal, we were able to observe the exponential growth of this port with our own eyes on the further journey, especially now that De The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has become the largest export port for the transhipment of vehicles and the most important petrochemical hub in Europe. It will have an even bigger future. Talk about sustainability.”
After the visit to the village of Lillo, the visit to the Deurgangck dock, Katoennatie, the members enjoyed coffee and cake in Sint-Anneke. The bolleke and tripel d’Anvers are also delicious. Around 8.30 pm everyone was safely dropped off at the church of Beek.
