Voices before the cup final
Matthias Jaissle, coach FC Red Bull Salzburg: “All of us are highly motivated before the final. It’s a knockout game, so we know what to expect. Ried are a difficult opponent, and we’ve already felt that this season. So expect I think it’s an exciting game. In any case, we’re going to Klagenfurt with the aim of winning the title.”
Andreas Ulmer, captain FC Red Bull Salzburg: “Our hunger for success is unbroken. It always distinguishes us that we go into our games highly concentrated and that will also be the case in the final. It will certainly be up to us how we start the game. The big goal is, in any case, to get the double and we will do everything we can to achieve that goal.”
Christian Heinle, coach SV Ried: “For us, the final is a great thing. It will be an experience that doesn’t happen every year. But we’re certainly not going to Klagenfurt as tourists, we really want to stand up to Salzburg and win the title. As we all know, anything is possible in a game and our club has already managed to win the cup twice. With Salzburg, by far the best team in Austria in recent years are coming our way. They played a great season, but we know what to expect and don’t want to go with them return to the Innviertel empty-handed.”
Marcel Ziegl, captain SV Ried: “For many players in our team, this final is the biggest game of their career. The anticipation is correspondingly high. In the end, only the title counts on Sunday. We know our qualities and want to bring them to the pitch. In the league we have in this season we can already show what an unpleasant opponent we can be for Salzburg.”
