Avengers Infinity War: this nice gift hidden in the Australian posters of the film
Globally, “Avengers: Infinity War” was THE must-see film of 2018. Some Australian cities were not mistaken and found certain tricks to encourage spectators to rush into theaters to see the blockbuster.
Avengers – Infinity War : all against Thanos
19th MCU feature film, Avengers: Infinity War is the episode awaited by fans in 2018. Indeed, what do people ask when they see a host of superheroes seen in previous films and (finally) reunited for 2h30? With a budget of over $300 million and a 5-star cast, this opus ultimately did not disappoint. Thus, it represents 2 billion dollars in revenue, becoming one of the greatest successes in the history of cinema. Above all, he cited a flood of rave reviews, including Josh Brolin’s performance shining in the Thanos costume.
Avengers: Infinity War sees the Mad Titan begin its brutal offensive to recover all the Infinity Stones. Faced with the growing threat of Thanos, the Avengers and their allies gather and prepare to experience the greatest battle the universe has ever known.
A nice marketing move
One week before the release ofAvengers: Infinity War in Australia, movie theaters have redoubled their ingenuity to attract as many spectators as possible to the big screen. This is how in some Australian cities, cinema locations are hidden behind some Australian posters of the film. The discovery came from chrischar66, a user of the community site Reddit, who managed to land two free tickets to see the blockbuster. For it, he simply ripped off a poster of the movie that was showing up on a bus stop.
Moreover, the poster in question reveals some clues with this sentence: “Do you dare to delete Thanos?” (“Do you dare to remove Thanos?” in VF). This blow of street marketing is, therefore, an opportunity for poster tearers to win free tickets for Avengers: Infinity War.
Once again, Disney has shown its power to succeed in selling its cinematographic product.
