Presidents of Portugal and Italy and King of Spain together in Braga at COTEC Europe meeting
The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the King of Spain, Felipe VI, and the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will be together on Wednesday, in Braga, at the XV meeting of the business organization COTEC Europa.
According to the initiative’s website, the COTEC Europa meetings have been organized since 2005 and are held annually in Spain, Italy and Portugal, on a rotating basis, with the participation of “business leaders, policy makers and academics from all sectors of activity “economic, as well as with the presence of the heads of state of the three countries of Southern Europe”.
According to, the XV Meeting of the COTEC organization Europe “will reflect on the deepening of relations between the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) and the rest of the economy, their synergistic effects and competitive advantages”.
Cultural heritage as a factor of cultural heritage, which will enhance investment in the company of positive impact, or the “role of culture, as an element of bringing people together” will be some of the topics to be addressed at the meeting.
Speakers at the meeting will be Ana Pinho, president of the Administrative Council of the Serralves Foundation, Clemens Pflanz, member of the European Alliance for Creative Industries (ECCIA), Concha Andreu, president of the La Rioja Region, Costanza Miliani, director of Institute of Sciences of Italian Cultural Heritage, Guta Moura Guedes, president of Experimentadesign, or the president of Braga City Council, Ricardo Rio, among others.
The general directors of the associations of COTEC Portugal, Jorge Portugal, Spain, Jorge Barrero, and Italy, Luigi Nicolais, are also among the speakers at the meeting.
