cover removed. Fvg extends the maximum discount until the end of May
Trieste stops monitoring petrol and diesel prices. From 1 May, the cost of fuel in Slovenia is again free: it will be determined by individual station operators, without restrictions. This is a consequence of the decision of the Ljubljana government not to extend the measure taken on 15 March to prevent the rise in prices after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. The condition is to set an actual ceiling – € 1,503 per liter for petrol and € 1,541 for diesel – by 30 April.
Therefore, from Sunday we can expect a significant increase in prices at the pump and, accordingly, fewer entries and exits of Italian motorists across the border. If the Slovenian executive decides not to renew the measure against price increases, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Council has decided to extend the maximum fuel reductions for residents with a card for subsidized purchases until at least 31 May.
As is well known, there are discounts of up to 34 cents for petrol and up to 25 cents for diesel, depending on the distance from the municipal boundaries of residence, which is added to the 30.5 cent discount established at the state level.
In addition, in the light of price liberalization, which was re-adopted in Slovenia, the region decided to return and put pressure on Draghi’s government to lock up contributions. In a letter to the Prime Minister, Fabio Scoquemaro, Adviser on Energy and Environmental Defense, emphasized the importance of the double discount that, for the first time in history, the price of pumps in Friuli was lower than the price not allowed. .
The commissioner also cited figures for this period, which will be attached to the title to the government, in order to emphasize the importance of maintaining the country’s contribution to keep the price of the Italian pump competitive and to avoid “perfect tourism”. –
