San Marino. Don Mangiarotti: “In order not to become extinct: let’s defend life”

Sugar Mizzy April 29, 2022

In order not to become extinct: we defend life

Thinking and reasoning is good, sometimes it hurts, if beyond the veil of the obvious of the means of communication you want to recognize reality without illusions and above all avoiding pre-packaged schemes.

Fortunately, there are still (few) journalists who have the courage to go to the source of the news, avoiding the copy-and-paste of the single thought.

I read a long and detailed article on the demographic crisis in Europe, written by the good Giulio Meotti, who reports these words by Mohammad-Reza Naghdi, in an interview on March 31st. Note that the interviewee is the deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guards of Iran.

«The West outlines a certain way of life for [altre] company e [ci dice] come live. What has this done to the West itself? It has caused negative population growth, which forces them to import population from abroad. European societies will reach a point, within several decades, where only one person of European race should be sought in France or England, for example… Human society is heading towards extinction. Nobody is willing to get married anymore. They live with dogs, crocodiles and cats. No one is willing to dare to give birth to children, raise them and build a life for themselves. This way of life they created… In England, they introduced a new member of the cabinet for the affairs of loneliness “

It really looks like an apocalyptic scenario, and, if we look with our eyes, we realize that this is unfortunately the daily reality.

It is striking to hear in the words of Mohammad-Reza Naghdi what he affirms regarding our West, which – after having rejected its identity with Greek, Roman and Judeo-Christian roots – wanted to impose on the rest of the world a culture that is enemy of life, of traditions , of the person, advocate of a culture of rights that is sustained by erasing the rights of the weakest and most defenseless: abortion and euthanasia are its reference marks.

These days, faced with the evidence of a catastrophic demographic decline, just outrage for the many deaths caused by an unjust war does not seem to prevent the enthusiasm with which the right to suppress human lives is defended.

If we try to take seriously the constant exhortation not to make the defense of life an ideological question (an accusation that, aimed at those who protect human life from its beginning, betrays the ideology of those who do not see the reality of the man killed – woe to mention it! – but it repeats the refrain of an exit from minority and from the Middle Ages in which the Catholic Church would hold us prisoner) then we would recognize that there are elements of law in every society which, if distorted, would lead and will lead to the very end of civilization and culture. And this is not obscurantist ideological thinking but simple evidence of the facts as an observer so different from us can recognize.

Perhaps reading the words of those of us who could try to fight a battle for life dare to our common commitment as citizens a leap of responsibility that, with a blow of wings, would change direction of the demographic winter that awaits us and would make the our Republic that beacon of hope as it has been in European history. I read in the information: «MIRIAM FARINELLI:” IVG, a poorer and more generic PDL was difficult to imagine “… we have the PDL in our hands, which bears the signatures of three Secretaries of State and which is the most evasive and generic you can imagine, in which nothing is regulated except to allow the termination of pregnancy without conditions, conditions foreseen by almost all the legislations … In this bill there is no room for reflection, we must do it quickly. Everything must be resolved quickly, no mention of prevention, what matters is the result … There is no trace of the conscientious objection of the health care personnel. It is the gimmick of the gimmicks. If in the medical field, for example, there are those who do not want to know about killing a life (because this is what it is), they must be respected and allowed not to participate in an act that a free conscience can judge as unacceptable. I say this to the many champions of freedom that this country overflows with, who accommodate rights according to their advantage… ».

PS: We need a change of mentality and culture, and the measures also in defense of the family, which otherwise do not resolve the basic question, can also do well.

Gabriele Mangiarotti
