Four new ambassadors accredited to Monaco

The Principality received diplomats from Timor-Leste, the Philippines, Norway and Bulgaria.
On Tuesday 26 April, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister for External Relations and Cooperation, received four new ambassadors accredited to Monaco, who presented their credentials to Prince Albert II:
- Maria de Lurdes Bessa, who began her career in diplomacy in 2001 at the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Portugal and who is currently Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Timor-Leste in Switzerland. Maria de Lurdes Bessa is also permanent representative to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
- Junever M. Mahilum-West who, after serving as Director General of the ASEAN-Philippines Secretariat, is currently Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines to France, Jordan and Palestine.

- Niels Engelschion who became, in 2015, Deputy Director-General then Director General of the Department of European Affairs and Commence International. He is now Ambassador of Norway to France since 2021.
- Nikolay Milkov who held various positions within the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense from 1992. Since 2021, he has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France, Permanent Representative to UNESCO as well as Personal Representative of the Head of State with the OIF.
