The Shalom Movement of San Miniato takes steps to promote the reintegration into work of people with difficult situations, through an important collaboration with the Coop Valdarno Members section and the Il cuore si melt Foundation. On Friday evening (April 29), in fact, at 8.30 pm there will be a solidarity dinner in the premises of the Cultural House of San Miniato Basso, the proceeds of which will be used to promote the project ‘Towards the future and beyond’ by Shalom, which was born with the goal of finding an outlet to work for young people and people in situations of socio-economic fragility through the cooperative form, to guarantee future and dignity. The name of this project is the same as the cooperative that Shalom founded and which – among other things – manages the recently inaugurated Bistrot Bonaparte in Piazza Bonaparte.
A project at the starting line but with the ambition to give life to a lot of solidarity, as explained by the director of the Movement Luca Gemignani: “In the meantime, we thank the Members Section and the Il Cuore Foundation melts for their collaboration and for the fact that they will double the contributions that we manage to put together through some initiatives, including the one on Friday evening. The cooperative wants to help people in difficulty through work and to do so they need the help of anyone who wants to dare a hand “.
Dinner will cost 20 euros (10 for children under ten), with the following menu: Tuscan appetizer, spaghetti all’amatriciana, roast ham and potatoes, dessert, water, wine and sparkling wine.
Reservations are required by contacting the Movement founded by Don Andrea Pio Cristiani at 0571400642 or by emailing [email protected] Alternatively, it is possible to call the Coop Members Section at 3393304333.
For those who want to learn more or donate, there is also the opportunity to do so through the Eppela online crowdfunding platform, by visiting the section dedicated to the Shalom Movement.
