Even if the vacationers should have digested the situation by now, they can’t put a check on it – because the rescue, which took place on April 7th, has now been billed to them.
An examination of the incident has therefore shown that the adults have acted negligently with their ascent and their poor preparation. In such cases, the rescued must bear the costs themselves. For the Germans, the bill for the helicopter mission alone is between 3,500 and 4,000 euros. (kv)
