The players have been waiting for their period for months, and an ultimatum has already expired. With Clemens Hubmann, Raphael Gallé, Fabio Markelic and Darijo Grujcic have four players canceled their contracts. In addition, promised millions from investor Thomas Kienle are missing. The club has debts to several creditors.
The personal visit to the protest committee planned by Wacker President Kevin Radi before the verdict was announced was rejected.
There is only one way left for Wacker, the club can file a complaint with the Permanent Neutral Court of Arbitration within eight days. However, new evidence is no longer admissible. A possible necessary decision WILL then be made by 31 May due to the UEFA first.
Radi does not give up hope
Wacker President Radi explains in a first statement: “We are currently examining all options and possible solutions in order to appeal against the judgment within the next eight days. If we manage to come up with solutions, we will of course try to submit them to the arbitral tribunal and thus obtain approval for the second division.”
“At the same time, trend-setting decisions are being made so that the club, if the worst comes to the worst, would have a future in the regional league next year. We will not give up and will do everything we can to ensure the continued existence of FC Wacker Innsbruck, right up to the last day.” so radio.
