It was 1:17 a.m. when the Ain firefighters arrived on the spot. On the night of Saturday April 23 to Sunday April 24, a detached house located in Groslée-Saint-Benoit in the east of Lyon was reduced to ashes by a fire.
Residents unharmed
When the firefighters arrived, the building was completely ablaze. It was necessary to implement four lances to stop the spread of the fire. This Sunday morning, the intervention was still in progress on the side of the firefighters.
Only two people occupied the apartment at the time of the fire. Unscathed, with no injuries, they were both taken care of by the town hall of the commune with a view to rehousing. The origin of the fire is still unknown at this time.
