Toulouse: the teenage racketeer relieves them of a telephone and a console by threatening to “cut off their hands”

The case dates back to April 16 and takes place in the popular district of Izards north of Toulouse. Two teenagers, one a minor, the other a young adult, are accosted in the street by a 17-year-old boy. The latter is very aggressive in gestures and speech. He orders them to give him the mobile phone of the first and the video game console of the second, otherwise he threatens to “cut off their hands”. Frightened, the two young people complied. The racketeer lets the young people go without hitting them.
While tampering with the stolen phone, he notices that his victim has opened an Uber Eat account. He thinks that the opportunity is too good, he orders for more than 110 euros of food, just to sustain himself after this successful theft. Overcoming their fear, the two teenagers file a complaint. The investigation is assigned to the Right Bank Assets Unit. Officials to identify the alleged perpetrator of the extortion. It is then formally recognized by the victims.
