Monauni visiting the Ludwig-Erhard summit – Liechtenstein
MUNICH – Deputy Prime Minister Sabine Monauni attended the Ludwig Erhard Summit in Bavaria on April 21 and 22, 2022, where she gave a keynote speech on the subject of “Sustainability, Security, Competition: Challenges and Opportunities of a Small European State”.
In her function as Economics Minister, Sabine Monauni used the meeting, which takes place every year at Tegernsee, to present Liechtenstein and its business location. According to the Ministry’s broadcast, she also exchanged views on current topics with Lars Klingbeil, SPD Federal Chairman, Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, and Judith Gerlach, Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs.

Relationships in times of upheaval
In her keynote speech, Deputy Prime Minister Monauni commented on current challenges from the point of view of a small European state. They paid particular attention to the importance of neighborly relations, especially in times of upheaval, climate change as the greatest global challenge and Liechtenstein’s contribution to a secure and solidary Europe. Furthermore, they presented Liechtenstein to the public as a competent and innovative business location.
Finally, on the occasion of the Executive Night, Monauni explained the core points of Liechtenstein economic policy to the almost 70 invited guests, including numerous German business leaders.
The Ludwig Erhard Summit is organized by the Weimer Media Group and serves to network the German media landscape with high-ranking representatives of German-speaking politics and business.
