Long-distance trains via Brno and Břeclav will leave Prague earlier. Due to exclusion
From Saturday, compared to the current timetable, long-distance trains of the Ex 3 line in the section between Prague’s main railway station and Břeclav will have departures. Brno and Břeclav go to Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.

“The reason is the continuing exclusion of the Railway Administration, especially in the Poříčany – Velim section on the line between Prague and Kolín,” said Lukáš Kubát, a spokesman for Czech Railways.
Timetable modifications mainly concern the railjet Vindobona and EuroCity Metropolitan or Hungaria connections. Trains will leave Prague’s main railway station and Holešovice up to nineteen minutes earlier. “During the journey towards Břeclav, the direction of the individual connections will gradually decrease compared to the current timetable, until trains will run from Břeclav to Vienna, Graz, Bratislava and Budapest at the usual times,” Kubát outlined.

Trains from Brno will also have earlier departures. The connections of the Ex3 line will run according to the locked timetable. “Adjusted departure and arrival times are processed into connection search engines and the My Train application. This measure will apply at least until the end of August, “said Kubat.
Representatives of Czech Railways ask passengers who have bought tickets and reservations for these trains well in advance to check the exact departure time before the trip and thus not miss the earlier departure of the train.
