22 April. Interfax-Russia.ru – Russia will not accept any ultimatums from Kyiv, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
“Know that we will not tolerate any ultimatums.
So Lavrov answered the question, which means that the Russian Federation heeded the demands of Zelensky, who had previously stated that the ban on the use of the Ukrainian military at this plant “will put a transition point to the international standard with Russia.”
Sergei Lavrov also said that Russian-Ukrainian problems have stalled, Moscow still has not received a response from Kyiv to proposals submitted a few days ago to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
“We are very important, now they have stalled, because five days ago another proposal that we handed over to the Ukrainian negotiators, which was built taking into account the comments received at that time, remains unanswered,” Lavrov explained.
The minister noted that “when he was appointed president of Zelensky, how does he feel about this next version of the Russian proposals, he said that we did not find anything.”
“It’s not for me to judge how much he knows, but it’s just a description of where this process under the name is,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.
He said that “great moments in time are of particular importance for the present moment with the Ukrainian side in a bilateral format, and within the framework of this agreement, Ukraine was consistent with the obligation to be a neutral, non-bloc, non-nuclear country while providing a security guarantee of an international nature.”
“This is exactly what President Putin was talking about at the beginning of the year in one of his meetings and press conferences,” Lavrov said.
He also noted that Moscow is not against those countries that have achieved the quality of guarantees for their security, if these guarantees are not created by a threat to other states.
“Ukrainians during the first meetings in a negotiation format are drawn up so that these guarantees are provided to a whole group of clusters of countries. “Is that there are any guarantees,” Lavrov said.
According to Ukraine, Moscow is with no one, except for his appeal on this topic.
