Salzburg – Friday, April 22, 2022, 3:05 p.m
ICE champion Red Bull Salzburg has to record the next departure.
Jan-Mikael Järvinen leaves the city of Mozart after a year and returns to his Finnish homeland. The 34-year-old striker will face new challenges there. Exactly where is not yet known.
Järvinen joined the Ice Bulls a year ago and has six goals and 24 assists in 58 games (including the playoffs). He also has one goal and eight assists in eight Champions Hockey League games.
Salzburg was his third foreign post after a year each in the DEL with the Adler Mannheim and the SHL with the Malmö Redhawks.
After goalie Jean-Philippe Lampoureux and defender Alexander Pallestrang, Järvinen is the champion’s third exit.
