Fully electric Xpeng P5 lands in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden
The Chinese car manufacturer Xpeng has announced specifications and price details for the all-electric P5 sedan in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
The Xpeng P5 has been on sale in China for quite some time now and has a 66 kWh battery pack that drives a single electric motor with 211 hp and 228 lb-ft (310 Nm) of torque. The company cites a 0-62 mph (0-100 km / h) time of 7.5 seconds but, more importantly, says that the P5 has a range of 465 km (289 miles) on the WLTP cycle.
Elsewhere, the EV has an 11 kW AC built-in charger and a CCS2 charging port and supports fast charging of up to 70 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in 36 minutes. The Xpeng P5 also has a car-loading feature just like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

In Denmark, buyers will have to be separated from 390,000 DKK (56,823 USD) for the electric car, while in the Netherlands they will pay 48,000 € (52,033 USD), customers in Norway will be charged 380,000 NOK (42,717 USD), and in Sweden will P5: start at 550,000 SEK (57,825 $).
All P5 models to be sold in Europe come standard with Xpeng’s advanced driver assistance system XPILOT 2.5, which features five high-resolution millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, four driving cameras and nine high-definition cameras to support XPILOT Driving, XPILOT Parking and XPILOT Safety features. The system also includes adaptive cruise control, lane centering control, adaptive turntable and active lane change.
Among the most important pieces of technology available in the cabin of the P5 are a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 15.6-inch portrait-oriented infotainment screen, online streaming services, wireless software updates, panoramic sunroof with electric sun visor, front and rear seat heating, wireless charging, two-zone climate control , tire pressure monitoring system and hillside control.
European buyers will be able to order the P5 in either Space Gray, Deep Black or Topaz White while black and brown configurations are offered for the interior.
Online reservations for Xpeng P5 have been opened in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, but it is not yet clear when customer deliveries will begin.
