Cleaning Netherlands starts with Platform Floor Maintenance
“Different business operations, personnel structure and working conditions compared to regular cleaning companies characterize these companies,” says Schoonmaakd Nederland about the floor maintenance specialists.
This platform concerns floor maintenance in the broadest sense: hard floors (such as tile, natural stone and wood), soft floors (carpet) and elastic floors (lino and PVC).
core activities
The platform has three core activities, the industry association reports. Namely:
1) Knowledge transfer with regard to specialist floor maintenance. It’s about:
-> Knowledge transfer about cleaning technology: think of working methods, coatings, sustainable floor maintenance, training and safety.
-> Knowledge transfer on the market: in the light of tenders involving very large floor surfaces, for example in hospitals and universities. Informing clients and intermediaries about how they can separate it (quality standards) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
2) Developments in the field of sustainability. Think of innovations and new techniques.
3) Positioning floor maintenance within the cleaning sector (as one of the specialisms). Cleaning Netherlands will soon be launching a floor maintenance knowledge base page on the website.
