The seductive Grouper live in Athens
The American singer, musician and composer, Liz Harris or otherwise “Grouper” on Thursday, April 28 will be in Athens, at Parnassos Philological Association for one and only appearance. Her music includes elements of ambient, psychedelia and folk while the songs of her latest album, entitled “Shade”, have been recorded for the last fifteen years, including his first single “Unclean Mind”. To date, he has written a significant artistic career, which includes more than a dozen albums, various side projects and collaborations with Xiu Xiu and the Yellow Swans. It has a specific aesthetic, which, however, is always evolving, sometimes strict and austere, attached to the core headset, sometimes vague and mysterious.
With her on the stage where he will be Panos Alexiadis sound artist based in Athens. For most of his work, he explores the connection between composition and improvisation, creating a sense of wandering in introverted, semi-abstract, long-lasting sound environments, using mainly reading composers and tape.
