Russia closes the consulates of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania in St. Petersburg, as well as the consulates of Latvia in Pskov, declared to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
All employees closed in the country by consulates declared persons free of charge.
The ministry explained this decision of the principle of mutual reciprocity, and also had a significant impact on the countries that provided assistance to the Kiev regime and covered their sides with the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against the world population of Donbass and Ukraine.
Earlier it became known that Moscow, as a response, was declared persona non grata by several members of the Estonian Embassy. They must leave Russia by May 3.
The situation became more complicated when, on the night of February 24, Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to use special means in the Donbass. At the same time, he stressed that the plans of the powers of the Russian Federation do not include the occupation of the territories of Ukraine. The President of the Russian Federation demanded the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik to help repel aggression from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
