Lyon is hosting the eighth European Stroke Conference for the first time from May 4 to 6 at the Center de Congrès.
The ESOC Congress (European stroke organization conference) is a European conference on stroke. The opportunity to discover the field of research and therapeutic progress in the field of stroke. Organized for the first time in Lyon, it is at the Center des Congrès that it will be set up.
Each year, nearly 130,000 French people are struck by a stroke. The event brings together 5,000 participants and aims to present new advances in the field of stroke. The 2022 edition presents a comprehensive scientific program including sessions relating to major clinical trials, cutting-edge seminars, educational workshops, scientific communications on the latest research and debates on current controversies.
The city of Lyon for the organization of the congress is not an insignificant choice. This is a moment intended to honor the investment of the Hospices Civils de Lyon in this major area of public health for 30 years. “We have the immense honor of hosting the ESO international congress in Lyon for the first time. It is an exceptional sign of recognition from the international neurovascular community with regard to our investment since the end of the 1980s. in this domain”says Prof. Norbert Nighoghossian, Neurovascular Service at Pierre Wertheimer-HCL Hospital.
The event will be open to all professionals involved in patient care and to all researchers in charge of neurovascular research.
