Miscellaneous – Justice | In Marseille, two brothers try to run over bouncers
A very popular nightclub in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille, the Pop Club had a nightmarish night from Friday to Saturday. The atmosphere was spoiled when, shortly after 3 a.m., two brothers described as very alcoholic by other customers would have fun swinging glasses in the crowd. Warned of the scandal, the bouncers of the establishment landed immediately and accompanied the agitators sharply towards the exit.
An eviction that did not take place peacefully, as told by our colleagues from BFM TV. “They threatened them with death several times before returning to their car parked in the parking lot“, confirms a police source. Worse: in a daze, the brothers, aged 22 and 26, did not just talk but took action by starting their vehicle before rushing towards the doormen, paralyzed.
One of them was slightly injured in the shoulder and leg and transported to the Timone emergency room. Another was more lightly hit… The attackers crashed into two cars in the mad maneuver and tried to flee. But already, a police crew had chased them and managed to intercept them a few hundred meters away. The icing on the cake: in addition to driving while intoxicated, the driver had had his license revoked.
Bonus: six grams of cannabis were found in their possession. At the end of their police custody, an investigation was opened against them for attempted murder.
