Ukraine has received technology for the production of mRNA vaccines

The mRNA vaccine technology has been in development for decades, but was not officially used before the pandemic. Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna coronavirus vaccines have been developed based on mRNA technologies.

Ukraine now has the right to develop and manufacture a generic version of Pfizer Paxlovid, an oral drug against COVID-19 and a home-made coronavirus vaccine.

Technologies for mRNA-based vaccine production to be transferred to Darnytsia Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Company World Health Organization (WHO).

The Darnytsia team conducts special training using mRNA technology for the production of vaccines and other medical products on the basis of WHO training centers.

In the near future, vaccines from COVID-19 of its own production are reported in the company “Darnytsia”.

Also in March 2022, Darnytsia received the right to develop and manufacture a generic version of Pfizer Paxlovid, an oral drug against COVID-19.

The mRNA vaccine works by carrying out “instructions” in the body to make antibodies. The “instructions” are a sequence of mRNA – template or messenger RNA, molecules that several build special antibodies to protect.
