Exciting weekend for the youngsters with an Easter egg hunt in Maxglan
Last weekend the U16 of Austria in the championship. The long preparation time could probably be used to optimally adapt to the league. Our vintage 2011 is dying U11, was allowed to organize the home tournament with a total of five teams on artificial turf in the Max Aicher Stadium this weekend. Guests were SV Wals-Grünau, Lieferinger SV and Fortuna Salzburg. Unfortunately, ASK/PSV Salzburg stayed away without an explanation.
It was a great tournament in changeable weather, which the young Austrians won with just one goal and 17 goals scored.
Our U6 Dwarfs invited SV Seekirchen and BSC Surheim to a friendly tournament in Maxglan. Seekirchen and Austria each competed with two teams. Despite the freezing temperatures and light rain, our young talents showed full commitment and a lot of enthusiasm.
The Easter egg hunt in the stadium was particularly well received. When it started at 12 o’clock sharp, the children could hardly be stopped, the lawn and grandstand in the Max Aicher Stadium were thoroughly searched. In any case, the winners on this day were the children, who, in addition to a sporting experience, took home a greeting from the purple Easter bunny.
This young talent day was rounded off with culinary delights by Sonja and David, who took care of everyone present at the grill. And the young Austrians also played a role in the regional league game against VfB Hohenems. The youngest kickers were there as walk-in children, while the older ones provided quick throw-ins as ball boys/girls and were therefore up close.
Not quite at the weekend anymore, but youngsters: Ours played on Monday U16 the top player in the league away against SG Lungau and won 2:4. That means the second win in the second game!
