Enough deputies stand outside Opus Dei school in Lisbon after board cancels meeting – Observer

A delegation of deputies from Chega attended, this Tuesday, at Colégio Planalto, of Opus Dei, in Lisbon, but stayed at the door after the direction of the educational establishment suspended the conversation that had been spoken with the party. The reason was the announcement on social networks of an action with the following motto: “Take the gags off our children.”
On Sunday, the teaching of parties on André Ventura’s agenda for April 19 announced that President Chega and other deputies would carry out, “with some establishments they would carry out, an action to sensitizer parents and students and the Government end of obligation the use of masks, especially in schools”.
Despite mentioning that the initiative would be carried out in “some establishments”, the note only refers that the action would “start at 4:30 pm on Rua Armindo Rodrigues, next to Colégio Planalto”.
Deputies André Ventura, R Matias, Pedro Pinto Frazão are present at the school attended only by boys, but did not attend a meeting that was scheduled and that was suspended by the educational establishment.
In response to the Observer, the direction of Colégio Planalto confirmed that on Monday it was contacted, through a phone call, regarding the “possibility of a casual conversation about the future of education in ours, having been said that it was an initiative that was also being promoted in other teaching centers”.

More than that, those in charge also point out that “every awareness-raising action in our facilities went to the College naked”. The Observer contacted Chega to get a reaction to the issue, but until the time of publishing this news there was no response.
On social media, the party shared photographs and an awareness-raising video about the Chegam deputies, participating in social media by students, but also distributing pamphlets and autographs.
