the residents of the Vallon des Auffes angry with the revelers
The festivities resume at the Vallon des Auffes and the anger of the residents is not empty.
With the return of good weather, the festivities have resumed in the port of Vallon des Auffes. Happiness for visitors, but misfortune for local residents who are experiencing the return of incivility.
Cries, music, nocturnal parties and litter strewing the streets in the early morning… the inhabitants of the district denounce the behavior of the revelers. Added to this are thefts and burglaries during the summer period.
Modify access
Residents castigate these multiple inconveniences and ask the municipality to open a new access by the Corniche to allow revelers “to access the seaside”. According to Malik, a local resident, this access already existed at one time and offers a quieter alternative for the inhabitants of the district.
At the microphone of BFM Marseille, he also asks for the closure of the “so-called private” street with a gate “so that residents can have peace of mind on both sides”.
Last year, residents had already launched a punch operation by installing barriers to limit access to revelers, before having to remove them.
Since then, the inhabitants of Vallon des Auffes regret not being listened to more by the municipality.
