the reasons for the travel ban in Lens
The prefect of Pas-de-Calais has published an order prohibiting Canaris supporters from traveling to the Bollaert stadium on Saturday April 30 (5 p.m.). The match is considered “at risk” by the DNLH (National Directorate for the Fight against Hooliganism). But the prefecture also evokes pell-mell the very strong migratory pressure in Calais or the international meetings of kites in Berck until May 1st.

This is another great classic of Ligue 1. Each day has its own, even its travel ban(s). The prefect of Pas-de-Calais has just contributed to the coercive measures. Remember that the Nantes park is already closed for the next meetings of the Canaries outside because of the smoke bombs launched on the lawn of Francis Le Blé by supporters of the FCN, Sunday April 10 in Brest. The Pas-de-Calais prefecture has nevertheless just published a decree prohibiting Canaris supporters from traveling during the RC Lens – FC Nantes match scheduled for Saturday April 30 (5 p.m.). It will thus be prohibited for anyone claiming the quality of supporting the Yellow and Green “or behaving as such”, to access the Bollaert stadium and its surroundings. The meeting is also considered at risk by the DNLH (national division for the fight against hooliganism). Also mentioned are a “antagonism” between the supporters of the two camps but also the mobilization of the police on other missions, in particular on May 1 “on the occasion of demonstrations and parades organized at local, departmental, regional and national level”. Mention is also made of the very strong migratory pressure in Calais, the mobilization of the internal security forces to secure festive events such as the international kite meetings in Berck until May 1, the vacuum -attics in Liévin or the manga fair in Noyelles-Godault. Finally, the prefect ensures that “serious disturbances to public order” would have enamelled the previous Lens-Nantes and evoked a “Antagonism between supporters” of the two clubs, without arguing or providing any specific example. A justification that challenges in the world of the stands.
