The PJ also stresses that in Brazil, 43 searches were carried out at homes and other places and people suspected of “being part of several and powerful criminal organizations that are dedicated to large sources in a vast amount of cocaine for Europe”.
The Judiciary Police also mentions that, last year, as part of this operation, more than 650 kilograms of cocaine had already been seized, which were detected in the fuselage of a Portuguese registration aircraft.
PJ and Brazilian police collaborate in searches and arrests
In a published note, the Brazilian Federal Police refers to two countries as “Operation Discovery” with the objective of dismantling a criminal organization specialized in the international trafficking of cocaine.
