How to prepare a delicious Prague cake? It’s very simple, and you’ll conjure up a delicious dessert –
The cake has gained popularity mainly in the USSR, but it is also a popular dessert in today’s Russia. It was invented by a confectioner who worked in a restaurant in Prague. The name of the cake really comes from the capital of the Czech Republic. The confectioner was one of the most talented and honestly watched his Czech colleagues who came on the second shift. Many people modify this recipe, such as adding cognac to make the cake taste better. You will then need the following ingredients to make a homemade Prague cake. Prepare for the corpus:
- 6 eggs
- 140 g of sugar
- 115 g of flour
- 40 g mass
- 25 g of cocoa
- 1 vanilla sugar
For the cream you will then need:
- 2 egg yolks
- 40 ml of water
- 240 g of condensed milk
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 25 g of cocoa
- 350 g mass
- Apricot jam
Then you will need a cake mold with a diameter of 24 cm. Take the butter out of the fridge so that it is at room temperature when used. First, separate the yolks from the egg whites. Whisk the solid snow from the egg whites. Add sugar to the yolks and send. Add vanilla sugar and mix again. Mix the yolks with the whites and mix. Also add flour in small pieces and mix constantly. Finally, add the cocoa and melted butter.
Put the dough on the carcass in a mold which you line with baking paper. Put the preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. But depending on the type of oven, you can easily set it to 180 degrees and pect half an hour. The skewer is then used to check that the body is evenly baked.
After baking, divide into three parts
After baking, let the sponge cake cool for a while and then divide it into three pieces. Then prepare the cream. Mix the yolks with water and condensed milk and send. Heat over a fire until the cream is thick. Allow to cool. Put vanilla sugar in softened butter, mix, add cream and stir again. Mix with cocoa.
Then take the first part of the body and spread half of the cream.
Put the second top and apply another layer of cream. Put two tablespoons of apricot jam and put it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Smear the top of the cake with jam.
Dissolve the pieces of chocolate in the thick cream and add a piece of meat. Mix and pour the resulting mixture over the entire surface of the cake.
