Little known in Europe but recruited by AS Monaco for a good sum of money this winter, the Brazilian Vanderson did not take long to acclimatize to Ligue 1 and is already making the Monaco leaders happy.

He landed on 1uh last January in Monaco from Brazilian club Gremio Porto Alegre. If its name is not very evocative in Europe and especially in France, the 11 million euros disbursed by the ASM to recruit Vanderson are not previewed! A sum which does not put the finances of the Principality club in the red but which nevertheless raises expectations on the part of the leaders.
