In Serie A, AC Milan will become LOSC 2.0
In the fight for the title in Serie A, AC Milan has regained its ambition of yesteryear and is already embarking on its next summer transfer window. A Lille-sounding transfer market.
Leader of Serie A with 66 points on the clock, Milan is slightly ahead of the competition formed by Napoli (2nd, 63 pts), Inter (3rd, 60 pts) and Juventus Turin (4th, 59 pts). Back on the front of the stage, the Lombard club no longer wants to be stripped of its throne and intends to strengthen itself in intelligent and significant ways during the next transfer period. Already provided by Mike Maignan, Rafael Leao, Fodé Ballo-Touré and Simon Kjaer, the Milan locker room could continue its Lille-sounding metamorphosis this summer.
According to the latest transfer rumours, Sven Botman and Renato Sanches have both fallen in the nets of Paolo Maldini and AC Milan. The Mastiffs have already concluded agreements in principle with the Lombard team and all that remains is to negotiate with the management of LOSC. An arduous task which could nevertheless be concluded quickly in view of Lille’s finances and the exit vouchers granted here and there. But these rumours, which have been our daily lot for several weeks or even months, are now supplemented by last-minute information. AC Milan would have made Divock Origi, also moved to the Mastiffs, the designated replacement for an aging Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Wanting to leave the Reds to relaunch a stalled career, the Belgian could fly to Italy. According to information from the British press, the 26-year-old striker is in the sights of AC Milan and Inter Milan. An opportunity he would not fail to seize as Liverpool offered him a good exit.
