the Saint Calais Hospital Center (Sarthe) is faced with problems of continuity and permanence of care.
This finding led the director of the Saint Calais Hospital Centre, after agreement from thePays-de-la-Loire Regional Health Agencyto temporarily close the Saint-Calais emergency reception service:
- Sunday April 10 9 a.m. until Monday April 11 9 a.m.
- Friday April 15 9 a.m. until Saturday April 16 9 p.m.
- Sunday April 17 9 p.m. until Monday April 18 9 a.m.
A nurse and a nursing assistant will however remain present to welcome patients who come to the emergency room and redirect them with the regulation of the SAMU 72 according to their state of health towards the most appropriate response.
All the actors involved in patient care and personal assistance have been informed of this temporary organization and are mobilized to meet the needs of the population and combine quality of care, safety and continuity of local care.
Indeed, it is recalled that an outpatient service is accessible by calling 116 117 (from 7 p.m. to midnight on weekdays, Saturday from 12 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight). This single number is free for the entire Pays de la Loire region. It allows you to contact an on-call doctor who communicates each situation and provides an appropriate response (telephone advice, referral to a local on-call doctor, etc.).
In an emergency, call the center 15 (UAS), a doctor provides the situation and mobilizes the appropriate means.
