A smuggler drove over an overpass in Budapest
A smuggler fleeing from the police drove a column of an overpass in the capital at night, the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) reported on police.hu on Saturday.

The vehicle was finally driven to the overpass column at the intersection of Gyáli út and Illatos út in Ferencváros. There were four passengers in the car, who declared themselves to be Albanian citizens, who could not prove their legal stay in Hungary, and were taken to hospital by an ambulance. The 25-year-old Serbian man driving the car was captured and produced on the spot.
According to the BRFK, another smuggler was apprehended in the capital at night: police in Kőbánya, at the intersection of Könyves Kálmán körút and Elnök utca, also checked a car with a Hungarian registration plate, which was driven by a man of Ukrainian citizenship. A Polish man and two men claiming to be Turkish citizens were found in the car and could not prove their legal stay in Hungary.
Police in Budapest also took action against a car with a Czech official sign, driven by a Georgian man and an Azerbaijani man. In all three cases, foreigners who could not prove themselves were prosecuted by the police on suspicion of human trafficking.
