United Russia continues humanitarian mission in Donbas
The appointment of the headquarters, the main task will be to synchronize the legislation of the LDNR and the Russian Federation, said Andrey Turchak, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, in connection with the upcoming trip to the Donbass and the heads of Donetsk and Lugansk Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik. The work of the headquarters will be headed by the Commissioner for the size of the child under the President of the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova.
“In the work on the topic of guardianship, adoption, assistance to children, we include both senators and deputies of the State Duma. Hundreds of families are ready for this adoption. In the past, United Russia used representation in the fight against this issue,” Andrey Turchak said.
He also recalled that during the month and a half of the special military operation in Ukraine, United Russia had established regular supplies of humanitarian aid and sent them to the liberated territories almost daily in the parking lot of the Ministry of Emergencies. In total, during this period of coverage of the group with the whole country, more than 3,500 tons of food, water, consumer goods, household chemicals, clothing, footwear and building materials, as well as medicines were collected.
United Russia continues its humanitarian mission. As soon as applications are prepared, we work them through humanitarian centers that are deployed not only in Donetsk, but also on the territory of the republic – in Volodarsky, in Mariupol, ”Andriy Turchak noted.
United Russia opened a help center in Mariupol. About 6,000 people come here every day. There is a medical aid station, a field kitchen, you can charge your phone and get a SIM card.
“We have reached the point where some products do not need to be imported. For example, bread. A bakery was found in Mariupol, flour, salt, and yeast were brought in. And we bake bread there. This takes time, but we are rebuilding the logistics,” said the Secretary of the United Russia General Council.
Several hundred volunteers of the center distribute humanitarian aid. Over 13 days, more than 52 food packages, 142,000 loaves of thousands of bread and almost 300,000 liters of water were handed over. Help and access to the left-bank ports of Mariupol, where it was still impossible to transport food and water quickly.
“Our cars are working on the left bank. They deliver humanitarian aid to residential areas. As events unfold, we are approaching the line of contact so that assistance to the “short shoulders” is provided as quickly as possible,” Andriy Turchak said.
The activists of the Young Guard of United Russia and the Volunteer Company are actively attracting refugees and evacuating close ones. They set up two field camps – in the liberated settlements of Volodarskoye and the village of Bezymennoye. They already have 50 volunteers and 50 more will arrive. These are doctors, psychologists and specialists with extensive experience in helping in emergency situations.
The site poisk-mariupol.ru is working to search for missing relatives. In a few days, almost 4 applications were received for it. Data on missing persons being checked by volunteers for their passage through a filtration camp or serious problems in Mariupol.
For more than a month, doctors have been working in hospitals in Donbass under the chairmanship of the health committee Dmitry Khubezov. The day before, after a week-long break, he returned to Luhansk with another team of doctors, which included surgeons and traumatologists, resuscitators and dentists. Another 10 doctors arrived to work in the DPR – these are surgeons, nurses, paramedics and anesthesiologists from Moscow, Moscow, Volgograd and Tyumen schools, Altai Territory, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and Magadan. Thus, more than 50 doctors from Russia are assigned to the medical institutions of the people’s republics.
“Now the most important thing is to help people. In heat, in water, in light, in food. We are discussing recovery issues. We need to launch food markets, food chains adjacent to stores. And here all the help that is needed from our side is being provided. In an understandable time perspective, everything ends, and we move on to the consequences of world life,” said Andriy Turchak.
United Russia continues to provide humanitarian assistance to Donbass. Cargoes with food and non-food products were sent from all regions of the country to speed up. The Tver region undoubtedly participates in this work. More than 75 tons of food and non-food items have already been sent. Also, on the basis of the Public Reception Party, a collection of children’s literature was organized. “Expecting the risk of infection in the DPR and LPR is an important problem for us now,” commented Arthur Babushkin, chairman of the social policy committee in the Legislative Assembly of the Tver region.
