Following the shutdown of the Ferrero production plant in Arlon, announced this Friday by the Belgian food safety agency, Luxembourg is now recalling all Kinder chocolates produced there. This is what the Government Commissioner for Quality, Fraud and Food Safety announced on Friday evening.
The production site in question is believed to be the cause of 134 cases of salmonellosis in Europe, including one in Luxembourg. The decision of the Luxembourg Food Safety Commission concerns all these products and regardless of the expiry date. It follows a similar decision taken by the Belgian food safety agency.

Many stores are involved in the distribution of these chocolates. In particular, they could be purchased at Auchan, Cactus, Delhaize, Match, Monoprix, Rewe XL, Colruyt, Luxairport, but also various service stations and large retailers.
The Luxembourg health authorities indicate that in the event that other Kinder are to be added to this list in the Grand Duchy, they will be published. on the food safety website.
