Lithuania is sending another consignment of medicines to the defenders of Ukraine
Continuing its support for war-torn Ukraine, Lithuania on Friday sent new humanitarian aid amounting to 15.4 thousand. atropine ampoules. These drugs will be used to treat Ukrainian soldiers.
After receiving information on the need for medicines from Ukraine, the Ministry of Health (SAM) and the Center for Health Emergencies (ESSC) organized the preparation of an emergency consignment of humanitarian aid collected on the basis of private support, which was taken care of by the Ministry of Transport.
This is not the first humanitarian aid consignment to Ukraine. In early March, the SAM and the ESSC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, sent a shipment of almost € 4 million worth of international aid to Ukraine. It consisted of medications, personal protective equipment, antiseptics, disposable syringes, bandages, surgical kits, sterile packages for bleeding, fractures, burns, stretchers, disposable face masks, gloves, and more.
