The Europol European police body, is committed to the refugees who left Ukraine and a half months ago defending Russia. Since the first days of April, at least, operational teams are being mobilized for Ukraine’s neighboring countries, namely Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Moldova and Lithuania, for those fleeing the war fall into the hands of human trafficking networks.

O CM that Portugal is also being called by Europol to this effort in defense of refugees. This Thursday, at the National Directorate of the PSP, in Lisbon, he corrected a meeting that, in addition to the representatives of this security force, sat at the same table responsible for the GNR, the Judiciary Police and the Information and Security Services. The meeting took place via videoconference, under the supervision of representatives of Europol.

The importance of the criminal investigation work of the Portuguese police is recognized at European level. And the fight against the mafias that humans are dedicated to trafficking in beings, especially, gigantic collection of information about the same species.

The contributor from Portugal is being considered by Europol in this context.

The work of the teams already deployed by the European police body is not limited to the borders of Ukraine, where countries are similar to being hunted.
